1. About this staging service
This is the UnifyID staging service operated by VerifyNova Limited. It is used to test registration, verification and account features before production release. Identity providers perform real checks on real information; staging does not make a passport, face image or phone number fictional. Payments use test mode.
Use your own information and documents. Do not upload another person’s documents to test a feature. Test accounts and configuration may be reset; do not rely on this environment as your only copy of an identity record or for a live customer service.
2. Your agreement
These terms are between you and VerifyNova Limited, NO 65, FABIAN NWAORA STREET, EFAB METROPOLIS, KARSANA, ABUJA, Nigeria, for a personal UnifyID account. Developer and business integrations have separate terms; this personal-account liability clause does not set a developer contract’s cap.
Provide accurate information, use only your own identity, protect your passkeys and recovery methods, and do not interfere with the service or help someone impersonate another person. Anyone with an accepted government document may begin the appropriate flow; under-18 applicants require verified-adult approval.
3. Verification, applications and account closure
Read the Privacy, Biometric Data and Identity Verification notices before verification. Biometric verification is part of this account flow. If you do not consent, do not begin capture; contact support about your circumstances. We do not claim that a separate non-biometric registration route is available today.
You decide whether to connect an application and can revoke its future access. Disconnection does not erase information already received by that application; contact it for its own retention and deletion practices.
You may request account closure. The ordinary closure grace period is 30 days, subject to applicable law and documented holds. Restrictions to prevent fraud or comply with law do not remove your rights to request review or exercise privacy rights.
4. Our responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or connected with your personal account during any rolling 12-month period is limited to the greater of USD 100 and the fees you paid us for that personal service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Related events count together; this is not a separate cap for each claim.
This limit does not exclude or restrict liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer protections and non-excludable data-protection rights, including compensation rights, continue to apply.
5. Changes, law and disputes
We will identify material changes and request renewed acceptance where needed. Personal-service price changes receive at least 30 days’ notice and the opportunity to cancel without a penalty for that change.
These terms use the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the competent courts in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, subject to the mandatory rights and competent courts that apply where you live. This clause does not require you to give up a non-waivable local protection.
