1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every application, agent and integration you register in the UnifyID developer console, in sandbox and in production.
They sit alongside the UnifyID Terms of Service and Privacy Notice that apply to your personal account.
2. Acceptable use
You request only the identity data your application needs for the purpose you declare, and you use it only for that purpose.
You do not sell, resell or share identity data with a party the person has not approved, and you do not use UnifyID to build a profile of a person without their knowledge.
3. Data protection
You are a controller of the data you receive and you comply with the data protection law of every jurisdiction you declare your application serves.
You keep your client secrets, signing keys and webhook secrets confidential and rotate them when they may have been exposed.
4. Jurisdictions
You declare the countries your application serves. UnifyID may correct that declaration and applies each country's rules to the data your application can request.
Notices, retention periods and grace windows follow the jurisdiction of the person, not of your application.
5. Suspension
UnifyID may suspend an application, or your developer access, where it has reason to believe these terms, the law, or the rights of a person are at risk. A suspended application stops issuing tokens immediately.
You are told why, under which policy, and how to ask for a review.
6. Termination
Either party may end these terms. Termination by UnifyID enters a grace window of at least fourteen days during which credentials are revoked, webhooks stop and the application cannot serve.
Records that must be kept for legal, fraud-prevention or audit reasons are retained for their required period.
7. Fees
Usage above the free allowance is billed according to the published price list for your plan. Price changes reach you after the notice period your jurisdiction requires.
8. Changes to these terms
When a material change is published you are asked to accept the new version at your next sign-in to the console. Applications keep serving until you decline.
